Last year’s decision by Bassetts to centralise the company’s dedicated commercial heating and sanitaryware teams has proved to be a superb success.
The two teams are now based at the company’s head office in Portadown, providing services such as estimating, project design and technical support to key clients working across Northern Ireland and beyond.
Alan Wright, Managing Director, Bassetts, said customers have benefitted from the change.
“Both the relocation and the addition of new members to these teams have further enhanced our efficiency and our customer service. By centralising our three sales teams, introducing new uniforms and refurbishing our head office building we have experienced a positive effect which has been passed on to our customers.
“A fast turnaround on estimates and quotes is as important as ensuring agreed delivery schedules are met and having the relevant commercial, sanitaryware and estimating staff in the same offices, along with staff who offer complementary services, makes this process simpler for everyone.”
Like the company’s domestic plumbing, heating and bathroom range, the commercial offering at Bassetts is exceptional.
Amongst others, commercial products at Bassetts include underfloor heating, Viessmann boilers, Grundfos pumps, Presstite MLCP pipe systems and the Pegler press Xpress pressfit system as well as products from Myson, Polypipe, Worcester and Kingspan.
Having such recognisable brands available is one thing, but backing that up with superb service is another. It is this aspect that Bassetts prides itself on.
The company works with leading M&E contractors across the province to help them develop bespoke solutions for a wide range of commercial projects.
Time is the biggest pressure that M&E contractors face and that is particularly evident in the commercial sector, where tight deadlines are a certainty of every project. That is where the new streamlined service from Bassetts can make all the difference.
Alan added, “Having dedicated teams for commercial heating and sanitaryware along with specialists in renewables means contractors can work with one company to cover a wide range of requirements.
“As we work closely with the manufacturers we represent, we can keep them up-to-date with the latest product developments that can help speed up the installation process. Additional services such as estimating, project design and technical support can also help to highlight potential problems before contractors get on site.
“Overall, our entire service is based around making life easier for our customers and I hope these changes, along with ongoing initiatives, will continue to achieve this.”
