City Plumbing opens its first branch in Ireland

Plumbing and heating supplier City Plumbing is proud to officially launch its first branch in Ireland. The new Sandyford branch features a spacious, clean-look trade counter and a modern bathroom showroom.

City Plumbing in Ballymount has also gone through a complete rebrand from the previous PTS red and white to the new blue and yellow.

“It’s exciting times for our business as we made the decision to open our first City Plumbing branch and rebrand the existing Ballymount branch at the same time. There are plans already in place to open more branches in Ireland and a possibility of rebranding our Northern Ireland branches in the future.

“It was a huge task to open the first City Plumbing branch in Ireland,” commented Regional Sales Manager Barry Lowe. “Since the opening in February, business has been progressive, and our trade counter and bathroom showroom has been gaining momentum.”

Barry added, “We are delighted at how the new branch has turned out. We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers and watching how the business will grow.”

According to Pat Kelly, the rebranding from PTS to City Plumbing was a welcome challenge. “PTS was very well known within the plumbing and heating industry in the Dublin area, and the name would have been synonymous as a leading plumbing and heating merchant,” he explained. “The rebranding of Ballymount was a task that everyone in the team took on board to try to get the name out there to customers and say: we are now City Plumbing and nothing changes other than the name. Our service and our pricing structures all stay in place.”
