The government wants to install 400,000 heat pumps and deliver 500,000 home energy upgrades by 2030, and this new partnership aims to support that plan.
Gaffney, which was acquired by private equity firm Waterland in November 2023, doubled its revenue in 2022 to €70m and made a €4m profit.

O’Connor Heating and Plumbing specialises in plumbing and heating services. Managing Director, Shaun O’Connor said that the new partnership signifies a “significant step forward” in the journey toward a “more sustainable and eco-conscious future for Ireland.”
