Almost everyone has experienced the frustration of low water pressure when trying to enjoy a shower. With that in mind, Tucson Pumps has invested in research, development, and innovation to launch its newest product: the Equinox Twin Impeller Shower Pump.
The Tucson Pumps engineers began developing the Equinox range of shower pumps to create a cost-effective, robust, quiet running, reliable and powerful pumping unit for both the Irish and UK markets, accompanied by an “Out of Box – Plumb and Play accessory kit”.
The timing of the product launch was vital. At a time when there are limited options available to installers and consumers, and with constant supply uncertainty, the Equinox launch could not have been better timed or received.
Tucson Pumps officially launched its brand-new Twin Impeller Shower Pump range at the PLUMBEX Dublin event last September. Both the positive and universal head pumps caught the attention of passing trade buyers, plumbers, and installers. Its sleek design with chrome-plated brass impeller housing turned heads, as well as the product features, exceptional accessory offering, and warranty terms.
Tucson Pumps has set the bar high with this new range and is now well-positioned to compete with brands currently in the shower pump market. The Equinox range of shower pumps is available in 2 & 4 Bar Positive and Universal head options, with both imperial and metric connection options. The company already plans to expand the range.
Equinox Shower Pumps are manufactured using the highest quality materials, including CW617N brass material for the pump impellers, pump body, impeller ends, plus pump connections and isolating valves. High-grade materials are also used in the manufacture of Equinox product accessories, with 304 stainless-steel material for the push-fit grab rings and flexible hoses.
As with all Tucson Pumps, the new range of Equinox shower pumps are easy to install and operate. The product is available with an exceptional accessory kit, including four brass push-fit connections with isolating valves on stainless-steel hoses, a push-fit disconnection tool, and an anti-vibration mat.
The Equinox range boasts quiet operation from its powerful output motors of 500W or 900W with an auto-reset thermal switch, and continuous (S1) rated design.
With the launch of the Equinox range of pumps, also comes a brand new selection of Equinox Shower Pump pipework accessories. Equinox accessories include Tucson’s Thermostatic Protection Device (TPD) and Cylinder Flanges.
The Tucson Pumps family of products continues to grow, and the company is constantly reviewing valuable customer feedback when considering new product developments. New lines are set to launch again as soon as early 2023.
