Heat Merchants has raised the funds for Focus Ireland since 2018. Also operating Bathroom Merchants, a sister business providing trade customers with a complete bathroom and showering product range, the group has already contributed €950 this year to date through the scheme.

For any purchase of a new gas or oil boiler, Heat Merchants collects the old one and brings it to an approved recycling centre for ethical waste disposal, with 100% of the scrap value donated to Focus Ireland.

Heat Merchants Group has been a member of Business in the Community Ireland since 2018, working collaboratively with other companies to address social, environmental and economic priorities.

Among its other charity initiatives are partnering with the Children’s Health Foundation to provide funding for the Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly through coffee mornings, bake sales and an annual Christmas raffle.
