Ecoerne opens revamped training facility

Ecoerne is celebrating not only its 10th anniversary but the opening of a revamped training facility. Ecoerne has also teamed up with Heat Engineer to be their sole approved training provider covering all of Ireland.

“Heat Engineer Software enables plumbing and heating professionals to easily calculate bespoke materials and fully understand a heating engineer’s requirement for accurate heat losses of any building,” explained Managing Director Denzil Cluff.

The consulting company is hoping to launch the first courses in July and August and is currently taking pre-bookings.

The initial sessions available at the Ecoerne training facility include “Heat loss and hydronics” and “Low-temperature heating and heat pump requirements”.

“These courses offer an introduction into the fundamentals of heat loss in buildings and an understanding of the sizing of systems to achieve optimum efficiency,” Denzil commented.

According to Denzil, recent market research conducted via focus groups has shown a significant demand for these courses. “The higher demand has been expedited by the recent change in building regulations, which is enforcing reduced carbon emissions and improved efficiency in buildings,” he commented. “The interest has been overwhelming after the PLUMBEX trade show in Belfast in March.”

Ecoerne is a specialist in the renewable industry, providing design and consultancy services to companies and individuals using and integrating technologies such as biomass, heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage.
