Sanbra Fyffe has appointed Alan Hogan to the role of Managing Director. Alan will oversee the company’s entire operation and provide strategic guidance to ensure continued achievement of its missions and objectives.
Alan holds a degree in Engineering from TU Dublin, a Masters in Business from DBS, and is currently completing a degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Management in TU Dublin. Alan is no stranger to the plumbing and heating industry. His career kicked off 28 years ago working in plumbing & heating sales, and more recently he held the role of Managing Director of Heat Merchants Group.
During his career, Alan has worked with the leading businesses in this industry. He spent 12 years in Precision Heating, starting as a Sales Rep and eventually working his way up to General Manager before leaving to join Kingspan plc in 2008. He joined Kingspan as Sales Director (Ireland) for the then newly formed Kingspan Renewables business. After two years Alan was promoted to International Specification Director with responsibility for customer development in the Middle East, China, SE Asia, Australia and New Zealand markets.
In 2012, Alan took on the role of Managing Director for Heat Merchants Group. Under his leadership the company experienced excellent growth and profitability, and the business achieved recognition as a Deloitte’s Best Managed Company in 2016, and the subsequent four years. In 2019, the All-Star Business Foundation awarded Alan with the Inspiring Business Leader of the Year Award.
Alan is also a member of the Institute of Directors (Ireland) and a member of the TC51 Technical Standards Committee of NSAI.
