Phoenix fuel the future

Phoenix Energy Services has appointed six new gas engineer apprentices to its team.

Rocco Quinn from Templepatrick, Harvey Joyce from Lurgan, Finn McKendry-Quinn from Killyleagh, Daniel Hughes from East Belfast, Shéa Davison from North Belfast and Aaron Jennings from Ballynahinch, were all recently appointed and will be learning the gas trade with expert support, while obtaining formal heating and plumbing qualifications as they work towards securing a full- time gas engineer role.

Commenting on his appointment, Daniel Hughes, one of the youngest apprentices, said, “The apprenticeship scheme is a great way to get into the industry, learn a trade and get qualifications while still working.I am grateful for this opportunity and am keen to learn as much as I can to be the best engineer I can possibly be.”
