Cork Training Centre is a large training facility located in Bishopstown, Cork, providing a wide range of training programmes including apprenticeships, information technology courses, commercial and industrial training courses which include The Energy Training Facility. The overall objective of the Energy Training Facility is to provide access to a framework of certification through which persons can display the required level of competence in gas and oil installation and servicing as required by the industry. The Cork Training Centre is under the remit of Cork Education and Training Board (CETB) which is funded by Solas to provide further education and training to meet the needs of the local economy.
